The physician behind your results.
Dr. Jim Boersma is a family physician and founder of Prevscan, specialising in preventive and longevity medicine for discerning clients. With years of clinical experience and a focus on evidence-based, personalised care, he delivers high-end diagnostic programmes and bespoke health strategies.
Dr. Boersma also partners with the Women's Health Clinic in Jávea and Clínica La Alegría in Calpe to provide functional and longevity-focused care. His mission is simple: prevent disease and maximise healthspan — the years lived in robust health — through precise prevention, advanced diagnostics and tailored interventions.

All Prevscan investigations take place at HCB Denia, one of the most advanced private hospitals on the Costa Blanca. Purpose-built for diagnostic excellence, HCB Denia combines state-of-the-art technology with a patient-first environment.
A dedicated radiology team, full on-site laboratory, and multilingual interpreters ensure every investigation is completed efficiently, accurately, and with complete clarity — in a single visit.
